Picture it: palm trees swaying above Ocean Drive, the turquoise Atlantic just past Lummus Park, a mimosa in your hand and eggs Benedict on its way to the table. That's Sunday on the Pelican rooftop.

Brunch on Our Iconic Rooftop, With Ocean Views
Most restaurants on Ocean Drive seat you on the sidewalk. At the Pelican, Sunday brunch goes up to the roof. From up there you look over the palm trees of Lummus Park to the sand and the bright blue water of the Atlantic, with the Art Deco energy of South Beach right below you.
The setting is relaxed and sunny: white tablecloths, wicker chairs, fresh flowers on the table and a breeze coming in off the ocean. It's the kind of place where one coffee turns into two, and a quick bite turns into a long, lazy Sunday.

If you've been looking for a rooftop brunch in Miami Beach, this is the view you've been searching for, right in the middle of South Beach.
What's on the Table at Sunday Brunch
Our kitchen, led by Sicilian chef Chef Gio, cooks brunch the way we cook everything at Pelican: fresh ingredients, generous plates and a touch of Italy. Here are a few of the dishes you'll find on Sunday.
Eggs Benedict, Finished With Black Truffle
Two poached eggs on a toasted English muffin, silky hollandaise, crispy house potatoes and a roasted tomato. Go classic with Canadian bacon, or choose the Salmon Benedict with smoked salmon. The version pictured here is finished with shaved black truffle, a little luxury for a Sunday morning.

French Toast With Strawberries and Maple Syrup
Thick slices of challah dipped in our homemade sweet egg and cinnamon batter, cooked until golden, then topped with fresh strawberries, mint, powdered sugar and a generous pour of maple syrup. It's served with bacon or sausage for the perfect sweet-and-salty brunch.

More Brunch Favorites
- Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes with strawberries, powdered sugar and maple syrup
- Salmon Bagel with smoked Scottish salmon, capers, onions, tomatoes and cream cheese
- Acai Bowl with strawberries, blueberries, banana, coconut and granola
- Avocado Toast on artisan wholegrain bread with a poached egg
- Shakshouka, three sunny-side-up eggs in a spicy tomato sauce with feta
- Steak & Eggs with a 6 oz. sirloin, two fried eggs and house potatoes
See our full breakfast and brunch menu for every dish, including omelettes, waffles and fresh smoothies.
Mimosas, Fresh Juice and Italian Espresso
Brunch isn't complete without something to sip. Raise a mimosa to the weekend, start slow with a glass of orange juice, or keep it Italian with a rich espresso. Fresh smoothies like the Berry Bliss and Island Fuel are on the menu too.
Why Pelican Is the Best Brunch in Miami Beach
Miami Beach has no shortage of brunch spots, so here's why we think Sunday on the Pelican rooftop is worth the trip:
- The view: an open-air rooftop looking over Ocean Drive, the palms and the ocean
- The location: in the heart of South Beach's Art Deco district, steps from the beach
- The food: brunch classics from an Italian kitchen that has been cooking on Ocean Drive for over 30 years
- The pace: four hours of brunch every Sunday, so there's no need to rush
- The occasion: perfect for birthdays, catching up with friends, family visits or a slow Sunday date
