The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) returns to Miami Beach from Thursday, February 25 to Sunday, February 28, 2027, its 26th edition. For four days, chefs, winemakers and food lovers fill South Beach with tastings, dinners and parties. If you're coming for the festival, here's how to plan your days and where to eat between events on Ocean Drive.
SOBEWFF 2027 at a Glance
- Dates: February 25–28, 2027
- Where: Miami Beach, with many events in South Beach
- Tickets and schedule: the official festival site
- Where to eat nearby: Pelican Restaurant, inside the Pelican Hotel at 826 Ocean Drive, open daily 8:30 AM – 11 PM
What to Expect at the Festival
The festival started in 2002 and has grown into a nationally recognized food and wine event. Expect beachside tasting events, chef-hosted dinners, wine and cocktail seminars, late-night parties and themed events like burger and taco nights. Popular events sell out, so check the official schedule early and buy tickets for the ones you care about most.
Stay and Eat Steps From the Action
South Beach traffic and parking get difficult during festival weekend, so staying close to Ocean Drive saves a lot of time. The Pelican Hotel sits at 826 Ocean Drive, a few blocks from the festival's beach events, and Pelican Restaurant is right inside.

Where to Eat Between Festival Events
Pelican is open every day from 8:30 AM to 11 PM, which makes it easy to fit around a festival schedule:
- Before a tasting: breakfast on the Ocean Drive terrace from 8:30 AM, from eggs Benedict ($22) to an acai bowl ($19)
- A late lunch: homemade pasta like the Lobster Ravioli ($36) or Truffle Cacio e Pepe ($36)
- Dinner after the events: Red Snapper in Guazzetto ($38), the Seafood Risotto ($36), or the Three Tier Seafood Tower ($145) for a group
- Festival Sunday, February 28: our Sunday rooftop brunch runs from 10 AM to 2 PM
The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Gio Sofia, a Sicilian chef with over 25 years of experience. See the full menu for prices, and note that an automatic 20% service charge and tax are added to all checks.
Wine Without the Festival Crowds
If you'd rather keep tasting after the tents close, our wine list leans Italian: Tuscan reds like Tignanello and Brunello di Montalcino, Gaja from Piedmont, Amarone della Valpolicella, Sicilian Nero d'Avola, and Champagne from Ruinart, Dom Pérignon and Louis Roederer.
Reserve Ahead for Festival Weekend
Festival weekend is one of the busiest of the year on Ocean Drive. Book your table on OpenTable or call +1-305-673-3373, and find parking tips on our hours and directions page.
